As soon as you purchase your website you receive access to it INSTANTLY!

You will receive an email in your inbox with a link and instructions on how to access your new website and set your password.  On the dashboard you’ll see the step by step instructions on what we need from you so we can customise it for you.  If you already have your content ready you can start adding it straight away. The site will be live on your domain name within a couple of days of you providing us with your domain information.  So you could have your finished site live in just a few days!

Not at all.  Our advanced editor makes it super easy to update your content.  We provide step by step training videos to show you exactly what to do.  You don't have to ever go into the confusing back-end of the website and never will you have to do any coding! You will be editing your website like a pro right from the start.  If you can click a mouse and drag an item, then you can easily do this. Everything you change happens right before your eyes. Yes, we can.

Of course we want you to take control and manage your website yourself, which is why we have designed all of the training, tips, and tools to support you to do that.  However, we also get that you might not have the time or confidence to do it all yourself.

If you decide you would prefer us to finish your site for you, you can send a request to our support crew and we will review what’s left to do, what content you have ready now, and provide a quote for you.

We also have packages where we can add your content for you, or create it and add it. Get in touch for a discussion and quote.

Yes you will.   Provided all your payments are up to date, you will retain rights to all the copy, images, logos, blogs etc.  If you choose to move your website away to another hosting company you can do so at any time.   (You can’t do this with a Wix or SquareSpace website as they are not transferrable away from those platforms.)  PLEASE NOTE: Any licences for paid plugins on the site are not transferable though, and you will need to purchase these relevant licences. We will let you know what these are, and your new website support person can update the plugin licenses for you.  Not purchasing these plugins may mean that certain functions on your site will stop working. We will ensure you are fully informed.

Depends on whether you have a domain name yet.  If not, you will need to purchase one. Your domain name is the address at which your website will be found online – eg:  awesometradie.com.au  or awesometradie.co.nz

We sell domain names – so head over to commonsensemarketing.com.au/domains and do some searches to see what’s available.  If your business only operates in Australia, we recommend one that ends in .com.au or .au.   If you operate only in New Zealand, we recommend one that ends in .co.nz.  Our fees are very low, starting at just $33 per year. Some government regulations state that certain domain types (eg: all Australian domains) have to be ordered for two years at a time.  You will need to provide an ABN for a .com.au domain, but not for a .au domain.

Other than that, there are no other costs for your website. Once you have paid your initial website setup fee, there is just the ongoing monthly fee and that's it.  Of course, if you break something on your website and require our support team to fix it, there will be a charge of $77 per hour to fix it, and we’ll give you an estimate of how long it will take (minimum charge 1 hour) when you submit your support request. If you follow the training instructions though, this shouldn't happen. Yes, we can create email accounts for you, however we will quote you separately for the setup and hosting of the emails.  We can also help with the provision of Microsoft 365 services.

Yes you can.  We don’t allow video to be added directly to the site as it slows down load time and can potentially increase your hosting fees. However we provide training on how to “embed” a video that’s hosted somewhere else – like on your youtube channel or on vimeo.com.

Yes it does.  We have purchased the rights to use these stock images.  However, so that you don’t end up with a website that looks the same as someone elses, we encourage you to replace some of the images with your own.  We show you what sizes the replacement images should be, how to reduce the file size so they load quickly and how to replace them.
